Bespoke Ceramic Pots by Earthworks Pottery in Denbighshire
Professional Pottery Services
My workshop is in a characterful 17th Century Building in St Asaph, North Wales. I make hand-thrown pots on a pottery wheel and take the pottery through all the stages o decorating, glazing and firing myself. I make the pottery in white earthenware and red earthenware clay and use a lot of traditional techniques plus a few more to make decorative domestic ware and other kinds of pots such as vaces, candle pots and light as candle pots for enjoyment.
I make pots that are fun and interesting to use with food like cheese plates and bread and olive bowls. There's lasagne dishes and camembert bakers and all sorts of interesting ideas. People come to me for birthday presents, wedding presents, house warming presents or just to treat themselves. Earthworks Pottery is on a pretty street in St Asaph in the Clwyd Valley by the River Elwy. I have a showroom and gallery in my studio where people are welcome to visit and look around and see the pottery. My pots are made in a small batches so I can give more attention to each one and produce unique and individual pieces and even bespoke pieces. I also make some reproductions of certain historical pots like 'Ozzie the owl', first shown on the Antiques Roadshow by Henry Sandon. My designs include Flowers, Burn Owls, Horses, Sheep, Grasses and wheat. Grapevines and fruits.
